Christmas Gifts for Beauty Addicts

Urban Decay Total Perversion Reloaded – £24
I bought one of these for myself last Christmas. They’ve changed it this year to include a pen liner rather than the pencil that I bought last year. These sets are a brilliant way to save some money on some great products. When I bought one the products inside were full size. As the full size mascara alone retails for £17.50 picking up the set is a bit of a no brainer! I’ll probably be making a trip to Debenhams at some point to pick up a box!

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette – £43
I have to include this because it’s something that I have been eyeing for weeks. I’ve seen people saying this could be an alternative for Kat Von D’s Mi Vida Loca palette which is no longer available. If you or the person you’re buying for is creative and likes to play with colour, I think this would be an excellent gift as it gives you all the colours you could possibly need. This might have to be a Christmas gift to me from me.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick Trio – £31.50
Jouer are killing it with their releases lately and the Christmas gift sets are no exception! If you or the person you’re buying for is more of a natural makeup kind of person then this is a beautiful set that has everything you could possibly need for the holiday season. So damn beautiful.

Jouer Essential Matte and Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette – £32
Again with the Jouer. I just can’t cope with the level of gorgeousness this company is coming out with. I have been eyeing this palette for a few weeks now and I really feel it has everything a person could want and need in a neutral eyeshadow palette that you can use everyday. I’m fed up of seeing all matte eyeshadow palettes. I want a palette that does it all and some times shimmer is required. I need this in my life please Santa.

Beauty Bay The New Neutrals Collection – £18
In the run up to Christmas it appears as though Beauty Bay has been curating it’s own customised gift sets. This set gives you four Makeup Geek single pan eyeshadows and a pretty silver pouch to carry your makeup in. I’m pretty sure I can claim that anyone who loves makeup loves Makeup Geek products. If you have a makeup obsessive in your life, this one is certain to go down well.

Spectrum The Glam Clam Brush Set – £60
Makeup brushes are a brilliant gift to give to a makeup obsessive. You can never have enough brushes! Spectrum makes particularly beautiful and high quality brushes. The Glam Clam is probably their most popular product and it frequently sells out. At the moment it’s on sale on Beauty Bay from £60 to £42. If you’re going to get a brush set you really should consider this one but act fast as it probably will sell out sharpish.

Sugarpill Cosmetics Lipstick – £17.95
Beauty addicts around the world have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Sugarpill’s new lipsticks. The packaging which looks like a little pill is just adorable and whilst £17.95 might seem expensive Sugarpill are well known for their high quality performance products. Plus it’s a gift and if it’s for someone who really, really loves makeup then I’m sure they’ll absolutely love it. There’s a few shades in this range, some more ‘out there’ than others. The shade ‘Nurse’ which is a matte red would be a safe buy if you’re not sure on the others. Everybody likes a red!

Eden Perfume – £18
If you want to give the gift of fragrance this Christmas then Eden Perfumes are your one stop shop. Usually I wouldn’t recommend buying fragrance as a gift for someone just because I think it’s such a personal thing and so easy to get wrong. However, the brilliant thing about Eden is that they produce identical affordable cruelty free and vegan formulations of popular designer perfumes. So, if you know of a specific perfume that your friend or loved one likes then you might be able to find a cruelty free alternative with Eden! I’ve previously written a blog post on two of their fragrances that myself and my fiancé tried which you can find here. Personally, I like warm woody scents so their formulation of Tom Ford’s Tobacco and Vanilla which they’ve named No.470 just calls my name. If that sounds like something you or your loved one would like, check it out!

I hope I’ve given you guys some inspiration to gift to the beauty obsessives in your lives.
Try to remember, this time of year can get pretty crazy in terms of spending and consuming.
We can often feel under pressure to give ‘enough’. Whatever that means.
It sounds cliche and cheesy but it really is the thought that counts.
Don’t get caught up in the materialism and if you don’t have much money to spare, don’t stress over it.
This is supposed to be a special time of year when people come together and spend precious time with each other.
It’s not about how much you spend on one another.

  1. I have yet to try the Eden perfume range but heard so many good things about them! Luckily for me I have the Full Spectrum palette but I hope I’m lucky enough to get the Ultimate Basics in my stocking this year 🙂 xx
