As a cruelty free consumer I am constantly emailing brands to find out about their animal testing status. I decided that it would be more helpful for everyone if I shared the responses I get rather than just adding brands to my cruelty free or avoid list. Below are the recent responses that I’ve had from brands regarding their animal testing policies.
Byron Bay Skincare
Green and Spring
Thank you for your email and interest in Green & Spring. In response to the questions you have asked below we can advise that the answer to each is no. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your email. I can confirm that our products are cruelty free. We do not test any of our ingredients or products on animals, nor do we employ any 3rd parties. All our testing is done in house by ourselves at HQ. We do not sell or distribute our products in any countries where animal testing is required.
I hope this answers your query.
Doll Face Beauty
The Doll Face Team
Josh Rosebrook Skincare
We don’t test on animals. NO no never, wrong and inhumane. I created this company to better the planet and I am a huge animal right supporter and activist donating to animal shelters, rescue organizations and the Farm Sanctuary.
I absolutely love the response I got from Josh Rosebrook. It always thrills me when I email a company and get a direct response from the creator themselves. That doesn’t happen very often and it’s lovely to see these people are so hands on with their company that they muck in and handle the customer services bit themselves. It’s also lovely to hear from them directly about the passion that drives them. How wonderful is it that this is clearly a subject close to his heart and a big part of the brand? I’m really impressed by that and for me personally, that spurs me on the purchase from a company because that’s a company that I’d like to support.
There are two brands in particular that I’m currently chasing for clarification as I’ve had unclear responses and I just wanted to ask if any of my readers had any information they could share on these companies. The two companies in question are Evo hair and Makeup Atelier Paris. I’ve had responses that I’m not happy with but the information is not clear enough for me to accurately report back to you guys. I just wanted to ask that if there’s anything you might have on these could you please share it in the comments below? I’d really appreciate your help!
Lastly, let me know if you have any thoughts on the brands mentioned above!
