Brand Spotlight -Soap and Glory

Soap and Glory are without a doubt one of the best British cruelty free brands around. They have a wide range of products that are fun, great quality and affordable too! Great news for US beauty lovers too as Soap and Glory is now available at Ulta so you can enjoy these wonderful products too.

Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil – £8.00
This has become a makeup bag staple for me. I picked this up months ago after hearing Serein Wu mention that this is a dupe for the cult Anastasia Brow Wiz. I haven’t tried the brow wiz but the products certainly look similar. It comes with a retractable pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other. I love that it has the brush on the other end so that I can easily soften any harsh lines for a more natural finish. The one downside is that the colour range is very limited. For me I find that ‘Hot Chocolate’ suits me perfectly fine. I recently picked up ‘Brownie Points’ by mistake which is a much warmer and slightly lighter brown. There’s one other colour named ‘Blondshell’ aimed at fairer haired ladies. If you’re not dark haired you may find it hard to find a colour to match you.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick in Blush Pink – £6.00
This pretty mauve pink lipstick is perfect for everyday wear. I often reach for this when I need something quick and easy to apply just to appear a bit more put together. Despite being a matte formula this lipstick is creamy and comfortable to wear. Bonus: These also smell like vanilla cupcakes. Good enough to eat, though you best not.

Love at First Blush – £11.00
This is perfect if you’re looking for a natural and easy to use blush. As it’s a sheer finish you don’t have to worry about being heavy handed with this. Sometimes when blushes are very pigmented it can make working with the product difficult as you can easily go overboard. You won’t have that problem with this product. It leaves a natural flush to the cheeks and thanks to the shimmer running through it, it also gives the skin a healthy glow.

Hand Food Hand Cream – £5.50
This tube is a permanent fixture on my desk at work. It smells lovely and leaves my hands nourished. The price of this is fantastic for the amount of product you get too which is one of the many reasons why I will continue to repurchase this over any other hand cream.

If you’re in the UK and you’ve never shopped for Soap and Glory products before it is worth me mentioning that they are frequently on offer at Boots either on 3 for 2 or money off. If you see something you like it’s worth waiting for one of those offers to come around. You won’t have to wait long, they seem to happen every other week or so.
