Soap and Glory are without a doubt one of the best British cruelty free brands around. They have a wide range of products that are fun, great quality and affordable too! Great news for US beauty lovers too as Soap and Glory is now available at Ulta so you can enjoy these wonderful products too. Continue reading “Brand Spotlight -Soap and Glory”
As the name Pur Melt Away would suggest, this breaks down makeup quickly and easily melting all traces of product. I have been using this as the first step in my night time skincare routine and following up with the Ultrabland cleanser from Lush previously reviewed here.
With regards to the packaging, it’s not the best. As this has a flip top cap it is prone to leaking. In fact, the first bottle I ordered online had to be returned and a new one sent out as the oil had leaked out. Continue reading “Pur Minerals Melt Away Makeup Emulsifier”
Lush’s Big shampoo had been on my mental ‘to buy’ list for quite some time even prior to transitioning to cruelty free products. I finally picked this up when the shampoo that I had been using (which I won’t discuss as I’ve been unable to find out it’s cruelty free status) was unable to effectively clean my hair and led to product build up. I never used to shop very much in Superdrug, I was very much a Boots girl. I think it’s probably because the Boots stores in my local area are bigger than the Superdrug stores and therefore have a lot more to offer. However, since going cruelty free I’ve actually come to favour Superdrug over Boots. Sure, Boots has some nice cruelty free options available but Superdrug has a vast range of own brand products that are leaping bunny certified. I know that if I walk into a Superdrug I can shop with confidence and that’s really important to me as a cruelty free consumer. Continue reading “Favourite Places to Shop Cruelty Free”
In today’s post I will be comparing the Too Faced Natural Matte and the Tarte Tartelette, both matte eyeshadow palettes. I bought one of these simply to tide me over as the one that I desperately wanted was unavailable. Actually, when I used them both my opinions completely changed so I decided that it would be worth while for you guys if I were to discuss them both. Continue reading “This or That? Too Faced Natural Matte vs Tarte Tartelette”
Me and the Ultrabland got off to a pretty shakey start and it looked like we weren’t going to get on very well. After two days of using this cleanser my skin that had been so well behaved and balanced recently was now breaking out. Nightmare. I don’t blame the Ultrabland though, it was just a case of me getting to know the product. Continue reading “Lush Ultrabland”
